Not Your Father’s NSX – The 1997 Acura NSX Base

There's been a lot of talk about the Acura NSX for 1997. As a leading car in the coupe market the NSX (and in this case specically the Base version) has maintained a high standard. The 2-door NSX is especially appealing to broad audience, making it a perfect car to help Acura as a brand in general.
1997 Acura NSX Base Specs
Acura NSX Engine Specs: The NSX Base comes outfitted with a VTEC 3.0 liter, 6-cylinder motor that uses 24 valves. The engine, manufactured by Honda, is mated to a six-speed transaxle by Honda. This arrangement has demonstrated to be an effective style for Acura.
The fuel system for the 1997 NSX is a PGM-FI design, using gasoline fuel. The fuel flow is controlled by a electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The fuel capacity of the fuel tank is 18.50 gallons.

The standard warranty period for the NSX is 60* months, or 50,000* miles, whichever comes first. There is also a warranty on the powertrain for 36* months or 50,000* miles respectively. This is standard in the coupe market.
Fuel Efficiency
The NSX Base received a miles-per-gallon rating of seventeen in-city driving and twenty three when it came to highway driving. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid car, this was within normal parameters.
