Our Review of the 1994 Infiniti G20 T

One of the staples of the Sedan segment is the Infiniti G20. In the previous model year debuted a brand new version of the G20 with two versions: Base and T. Sales for the G20, especially the G20 T, were brisk during 1994 and 1995. The improved vehicle quality and the modern styling were responsible for the boost in sales.

Performance

The G20 T is equipped with a Nissan 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The engine is mated to a Jatco 4-speed Transaxle. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Infiniti.

The fuel system for the 1994 G20 is a SFI design, running on gasoline fuel. The fuel flow is regulated by a electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The storage capacity of the fuel tank is 15.90 gallons.

The G20 uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The car uses coil and coil springs front and rear respectively.

G20 T Statistics

The dimensions of the G20 T are 67.00 inches wide by 175.00 inches long. It sits a comfortable 53.50 inches off the ground. It seats a standard five passengers, with 4 doors. The wheelbase of 100.40 allows for limited leg room for the backseat passengers.

The listed retail price in 1994 (MSRP) was $21,975, with an invoice cost of an industry-low price. This price is slightly higher than the industry average price for a four-door Sedan.

There is a 50,000* mile, 60* month warranty with this vehicle, including a powertrain warranty of 50,000*/36* miles/months. This is normal for this price range.

Fuel Efficiency

The G20 T received a miles-per-gallon rating of 22 - 24 in-city driving and 28 - 32 when it came to long-distance. Being a gas-powered non-green car, this was subpar.
