The Nissan 370Z Touring for 2009

A lot has been said about the Nissan 370Z for 2009. As Nissan's entry in the coupe market the 370Z (and in this case specically the Touring version) has maintained a solid reputation. The 2-door 370Z is especially appealing to wide market segment, making it a perfect car to help Nissan as a brand in general.

Performance

The 370Z Touring is equipped with a Nissan 3.7 liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a Nissan 6-speed Transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Nissan.

The 2009 370Z's normal fuel system runs on gas. The fuel is regulated electronically, with a fuel-injected multi-port fuel injection (MFI) style of design. The fuel tank holds 12 gallons.

Steering control is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The 370Z has power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. The car uses coil front springs and coil in the rear.

370Z Touring Statistics

The 370Z is inches long, inches wide, and inches high. It has a wheelbase of inches. It is able to seat several adults comfortably.

The listed retail price in 2009 (MSRP) was an industry-low price, with an invoice cost of an industry-low price. This price is slightly higher than the industry average price for a two-door Coupe.

The standard warranty period for the 370Z is 60* months, or 50,000* miles, whichever comes first. The warranty also includes a warranty on the drivetrain for 36* months or 50,000* miles respectively. This is standard in the coupe market. Extended warranties are also available through the dealer.

Fuel Efficiency

The 370Z Touring received a miles-per-gallon rating of seventeen in-city driving and twenty three when it came to long-distance. Being a gas-powered non-green car, this was subpar.

In Summary

The 2009 model year was unsuccessful for the Nissan 370Z. The introduction of several trim levels (along with the Touring version) meant that buyers had several options to choose from..
