The restyled NSX T is equipped with a Honda 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine that utilizes a total of 24 valves. The VTEC engine is paired with a Honda 6-speed transaxle. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Acura.

Acura NSX

A high point in the coupe market is the Acura NSX. In 1999 Acura released an upgraded version of the NSX with three versions: T, Base, and Alex Zanardi Edition. Sales for the NSX, especially the NSX T, were brisk during 1999 and 2000. The improved reliability and the sporty styling were responsible for the sales boost.
